Goats That Butt Heads at Noon

Two mechanical goats emerge from Poznań's town hall clock every day at 12:00 and butt heads twelve times. They have done so since 1551, when a cook reportedly ruined a banquet roast and substituted two goats he found nearby.

The clock: Poznań keeps UTC+1. The goats are the only reason a large crowd reliably assembles in a Polish market square at exactly midday.
