WorldClock.info ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit worldclock.info.
You do not need an account to use WorldClock.info, and browsing the site does not ask you for any personal information.
If you send us a message through the contact page, we store the name, email address, subject and message you enter, together with the time it was sent, in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore (a service of Google LLC). We use it only to read and answer your message. The site itself cannot read these messages back; only we can, from the Firebase console. We delete a message when you ask us to, and we do not use your email address for newsletters or marketing.
On the home page your browser may ask whether to share your location, so we can show the nearest city and mark you on the globe. This is optional. The coordinates are used on your device only, are never sent to us, and the last position is kept in your browser's local storage so the globe can show it on your next visit.
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify you.
We do not set cookies of our own for advertising. To remember your preferences (theme, clock format, language, view, the daily game's panel) and your last location, the site uses your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us or shared, and you can clear it at any time in your browser's settings.
Google, our advertising and analytics provider, may set its own cookies, as described below.
We partner with Google AdSense to display advertisements on WorldClock.info. Google AdSense is a program run by Google LLC that allows us to earn revenue by showing ads. Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, use cookies to show you ads based on your previous visits to our site and other sites on the internet.

Google and its partners may use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to show you ads based on your visits to worldclock.info and other websites. We use Google Analytics (a Google tag) to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, from which country and device, and how visitors arrive. It sets cookies (such as "_ga") and receives your IP address and browser details; Google Analytics does not log or store full IP addresses. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the site and do not use it to identify you. You can block it with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or in your browser settings. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you agree in the consent message. Pages in Icelandic, Basque, Irish and Swahili also load the analytics tag.
The map data for the globe is loaded from the jsDelivr content network, ads and analytics are loaded from Google. When your browser fetches these files, those services receive your IP address and browser details, as with any request on the web.
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you (in practice, only messages you have sent us), and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@garage.ist. For data processed by Google for advertising, use the links above.
Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
WorldClock.info does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
